MTV News launched a redesign of the site in July 2016 and it was much more than just a facelift. We completely overhauling the user experience, underlying technology, recommendation engines, etc. From a UX stand point, I worked on competitive analysis, A/B tests, ideation, prototyping, multiple rounds of usability testing, etc.
MTV News is looking to reinvent it’s site-wide video experiences. Once best practices are established, we will implement them across multiple brands and products.
